St John's extends the invitation to Join the community for a Pet Blessing in the church garden, followed by a BBQ. All are welcome, with or without pets of any type! The event is a celebration to give thanks for those companion animals that have enriched our human lives. The Melbourne Composers' League will present two programs of music at 12:00pm-1:00pm and 2:00pm, with a lunch break between the programs. My contribution will be the first Melbourne performance of Ground Thunder Returns for piano and double bass, with Catherine Golden (double bass) - we are looking forward to presenting the work.
